hello,

we can recommend the villa adriana apartments on ciovo island which is about 30km from split. very nice area and for croatian standards extraordinary luxurious. the owner%26#39;s website is www.ciovo.eu

Hi Hanna!

KiKi, a friend of mine visited Split and have stayed in the House Sandra. She wrote an article about her great experience when she%26#39;s back in Hong Kong, which can be found under %26quot;testimonial%26quot; of House Sandra%26#39;s web site. The article is written in Chinese though....

Here goes the web site:-

I will be in Split for a day in my June trip this year and have booked with House Sandra.

Hope this helps!

Jacqueline

Hi Jacqueline,

You are so helpful!!!!By the way I did book with Sally that apartment in Dubrovnik for April-the one you did recommend-Thanks again!I will be back in the NYC on May 2nd and then I will be able to tell you all about it or actually I have a blackberry with me and I will email you once we got there.

About Split apartments : I did all the homework and I have 2 options:

1. A very nice apartment at Miliceva 11 ( that is the address) - i think it is 5-10 to center 10-15 to bus /ferry. and the price is better

or

2.Spalato 2 in the center of the town- I need the 4th floor unit because I prefer regular bed versus sofabed.I hear this is the center of the town but a bit pricier about $45/US 23/EURO more a night.

SO my question is really: how far is MILICEVA 11 from the center of the town...you know sometimes the 10-15 minutes truly is 30-45 min and when you tired and take the ferry /bus every day for side trips it matters that when you do return to Split at night from the ferry/bus is another long walk or pay for the taxi.

If someone is familiar with Split/ maybe locals would know this in terms of distance.

Thanks again for every recommendation.

Lila....

i%26#39;m not surprised you had your post removed...after all you just marketed you business wasn%26#39;t a true recommend...i%26#39;m seasoned enough to know who is real and who is fake...but sometimes I make mistakes as well.I was right on and after looking at the link I knew it is just advertising of you services.

I only hope that honest local croatians can and will give honest advice and for the record you must remember that an honest recommend from a traveler who has been there is the real thing.

People aren%26#39;t dumb...and in the long run it will only hurt your business.
