Which is better, Euro or kuna, when quoted in Euro?

Hi,

I am really embarrassed to ask this question, but I prefer not to pay more than I have to. If we pay cash at the hotel in Zagreb we will receive a 10% discount. The rate was quoted in Euro. I realize that the hotel can be paid in Kuna since that is the currency of the country. But will the bottom line be the same? In other words, will there be a conversion fee from Kuna to Euro or vice versa? We will have Euro with us when we arrive in Zagreb.

Thanks much in advance.

Not sure if the hotel will have a conversion fee.

If they have, simply exchange your money in one of exchange offices (lots of them around town), none of them has that fee.
