We need help with Rab island please. We are looking for an apartment and found one, Apartment Bruno (40Euro a night), in Lopar. Unfortunately they did not have availability and now I wonder if this wasn%26#39;t actually a good thing. Where on the island would you suggest to stay? Kampor maybe? We are on Rab island 14 and 15 May 2008.
Another question is regarding the weather. Will we be able to swim during May? We are in Croatia from 9 - 25 May and our itinerary looks as follows:
2 nights Zagreb
3 nights Opatija
2 nights Rab
1 night Zadar
2 nights Plitvice
2 nights Trogir (still searching for accommodation)
3 nights Hvar
2 nights Dubrovnik

May could be too cold to swim. Lopar has a nice sandy beach but since it could be too cold for swimming anyway…
Think the best place on Rab is the Rab town itself. All places there are tiny so getting around shouldn%26#39;t be a problem.

actually, the sea temperature in May will not be as high as the temperature in August but last year we started swimming in the sea from May 1 holiday since the weather was fabulous.
