If you%26#39;re spending 5 days in Hvar late May, would you rent a car? There%26#39;s just 2 of us. Is it worth renting a car for part of the time?
We were recommended a nice apartment in Milna - how hard is it to get around from Milna to rest of the island?

Some might not agree with me, but if you can afford the car, then get the car. I always think its so nice to be able to just go out and explore the island and get to other towns that you aren%26#39;t staying in. So my advice would be to get a car!

I agree with Barry, especially if you are not in Hvar town.
There is an agency in Hvar town renting cabrio vw beetles ( or is it convertible vw beatles) not too expensive, it could be fun !

I think that Milna has no public transport connection, somebody correct me if I am wrong, maybe some bus during the school year.Yes, there are these cabrios , I think 500 kuna a day, but you can rent scooter, bicycle too.
You will need some kind of transport to visit Hvar, Starigrad, Jelsa and don%26#39;t forget Vrboska-very picturesque village.
