Itinerary help

We will arrive in Zadar on Saturday, Sept 13 at 8:20am. We will travel (via bus?) to Split that same day. We have reservations for Dubrovnik for September 16(Tuesday). My question is, should we stay in Split for one night? two nights? then take the ferry to Hvar for one night? Suggestions please. Thanks!

Stay a couple nights in Split. Spend one day wandering around Diocletian%26#39;s Palace and then the next day take a day trip out to Hvar or Bol on Brac.

Thanks for your input. I think we%26#39;ll go with the two nights in Split and most likely a nite in Hvar.

I would suggest one night in Split and two nights in Hvar. Hvar is just fantastic in September!

I%26#39;ve tried to check Jadrolinija.hr for ferry schedules, but they are not yet posted for September. Any idea of when the ferry leaves Split for Hvar and return in September? How long does the crossing take?

Why leave Zadar immediately for Split the same day? Putz around in Zadar a bit first. You may get to Split and wish you%26#39;d spent more time in Zadar first...

Jadro is weird with their web site now and then. Once in a while they make a mistake and forget to post updates on the English site. Also they sometimes don%26#39;t plan as far ahead as us obsessive-compulsive Americans would like. You can probably assume that the schedule for September will be the same or better than the one that is currently posted on the low season page. I wouldn%26#39;t sweat it. Plan a little flexibility if possible. Things aren%26#39;t quite as cut in stone....
