Cavtat for 7 days where else for further 7 ??????

Thinking of booking Croatia for 14 days in June 08. Like Hotel Croatia ( Cavtat) for 7 days what would be good for the other 7 flying from in/out Dubrovnik airport. Thought of Montenegro ??? its 3 hrs too far.Would 14 days in Cavtat be too much ?

Cavtat is very small and you can walk the district in a day so you should expand the horizons and go to Montenegro ..... Kotor , Budvar for a few days and perhaps Mostar or Sarajevo

I think 14 days in Cavtat would be too long. How about getting out to the island for a week?

I have spend 14 days in cavtat before and loved every minute of it (although I just posted up today re. an alternative for the third week this year - only because we have stayed 6 times in Cavtat - we are planning to stay the first two weeks in cavtat again at the Hotel Croatia which is fab.

I love Cavtat because you can do the exact same really, as in Dubrovnik with the added advantage that you can really relax and chill out in the evenings and it is not a bustly as Dubrovnik with the tourists. There is also a more Villagy atmosphere about it.

We have been to Montenegro also and we loved it - we stayed in Kotor. And we have been to Mostar - Cavtat is just as good a base as Dubrovnik for seeing these things.

Basically I don%26#39;t think 14 days in Cavtat would be too much if you like to relax and chill out.
