Ferrry won%26#39;t work because of schedule in April. Should I go train, bus or Taxi for the 2 of us?

Mayybe it would be best to get to Rijeka and then to Rovinj or just get a bus to Pula and see if Rovinj is on that route as well

Train or bus to Trieste, then depending on your arrival time in Trieste, take the bus to Rovinj or Pula

Hi, Did the trip 2 weeks ago. if its Treviso airport your arriving at then there is a bus service awaiting every Ryan Air flight. get the Bus to Mestre train station 5 euro..... Train to Trieste, they run often with some faster than others about 24 Euro first class return. google Trenitalia for train times........
Turn right outside Trieste train stn and walk 50 yards to bus station google www.brioni.hr for bus times to croatia, i think there is a bus to Rovinj leaves 16:15, costs about £8 and £1 for any luggage....takes 2hrs 20 mins.

Hi, Im going back mid March so will let you know if its begining to wake from hibernation. I was there first week in Feb and it was really quite.
No bus service from Trieste to Rovinj on a sunday btw

I%26#39;m considering renting a car in Venice. Do you see any problems with driving as far south as Split and back in 8 days? Also, do you think we will need reservations for hotels the 1st week of April? Have a good trip!

Hi Again, was in Rovinj last week again........weather was really pleasant.still quite but thats how i like it.
60% of restaurants open, but the other 40% look like they will be open by 1st April when Ryanair start using Pula again.
Local people tell me Easter will be busy.
Best rates for hotels ive found is maistra.hr.
Building work by Hotel Eden is extensive, i stayed in Hotel Park and could not here a peep.

Yes you can do Venice, Split back to Venice easily in 8 days. From Venice, you can easily drive to Rovinj and stay there one night. Then we did a similar trip and we stayed in Zadar after Rovinj (had enough time to visit Baska in Krk island in between) and then the next day to Trogir (visiting Sibenik in between) near Spilt the next day. So you will be in Split in 3 days.
