Does Dubrovnik take Euro or just Kono?

We will be in Dubrovnik for 1 day off of a cruise ship and wanted to walk it on our own. However, we don%26#39;t know the language and will mostly have Euro%26#39;s and credit cards with us.

Do any of you know if most of the establishments take the Euro?

Are we in over our heads???

Why would you be in over your head? Most people speak English.

Just withdraw some kuna from an atm.

All shops, cafes, bars etc only take Croatian Kuna - they only use Euro for paying hotels. The majority of Croatians speak English so you will be OK

Have a good trip !

Agreed that you should just use the ATM and get some kuna. And the language barrier will not be a barrier.

You can also simply go to an exchange office and get kunas for your euros.
