Apartment in/near Dubrovnik

We are 4 adults and 2 small children traveling to Dubrovnik in May. We are looking for a place to stay near the Old Town without too many steps as the kids are 3 and 5. We are looking for either one large apartment for all of us (3 BR) or 2 smaller apartments. Any suggestions? Would it be better to stay somewhere further out of town and drive in? We will be there three nights and mostly want to explore the old town and take a day trip to Mostar. Help is appreciated!

Find something near the Old Town if possible. You don%26#39;t want to have to drive in and worry about finding parking. You could find a place in Lapad though and just take the bus in when you want.

I do understand that there will most likely be some steps involved. I just want to minimize them. We are a family of 4 and two other adults.

Hi, on our first trip to Dubrovnik we made a mistake by booking an apartment with fantastic views but 300 or so steep steps to cope with in and out of the old town. We prefer to stay in the old town; the beach is a short walk; its lively and prettier, so we have now booked at the Benussi apartments close by Pile Gate for our next visit. It has had good reviews, the owner seems attentive so check it out on the web. Just a few steps I believe but DBV is worth it!

Dubrovnik bed and breakfast would not have too many stairs. Give it a look!

I did check Dubrovnik B%26amp;B and they are booked those dates. It seemed ideal though.
