Family holiday in August - which area?

Hi. We are two families (4 adults and 5 children aged 7 - 12) looking to go to Croatia for a holiday in the summer, but we%26#39;re unsure which are would be the best for us.

We would like to be by the sea, with watersports facilities available. Any suggestions please?

Consider Rovinj. The hotel Eden seems to be a good family hotel.
