Hi We are a couple only staying 1 night in Split 12/7/08 before getting onto a yacht. Prices are expensive, can anyone recommend a home stay for one night for around 20 euro?

on that period owners dont like rent apartment for 1 days special for friday, and saturday..
but for 20 euro you can find accommodation in agency or people on the streat

you probably won%26#39;t find anything for one day for such a low price! Start booking a hotel room and start booking now since you may end up paying much more then you expect!

There are websites that advertise homestay accommodation in croatia, www.adriatica.net is one. However, most of them don%26#39;t take one night bookings. Usually you will find home owners pedalling their rooms at the port in Split or there are various tourist offices that can find you a room. You have to take your chances and turn up on the day and ask. I%26#39;ve done this throughout Croatia and have always succeeded in finding a place, even in the busy season and for just one night. It%26#39;s best to get there early in the day though.
