Transport from Split Airport

Approximately how much does a taxi cost from Split airport to the following places :-

Baska Voda

Brela

Makarska

Tucepi

Are there any cheaper alternative forms of local transport available.

The price for taxi from Split airport to Split town is cca. 300,00 kuna.

For other towns you should take a bus from Split it is much cheaper.

by km 1,50 or 2,00

I think that taxi from airport to Makarska which is 85 km distance can cost atleast 100,00 euro.Anyway you can make bargain with taxi driver because it is out of season.If you want I can make offer to drive you with my car so I will make some extra pocket money.65 euro it will be fine for me

Prices is 1.4 E by km .. for van for 8 people ..

If you know the company give them web address so that they can book,it is good price much better that taxi

Yes I know the person.I am tourist guide and several time I work for him.Very nice person and travel agent.I can highly recommended him.His father drive van and he is professional driver in pension.

Can you catch a bus directly from Split airport direct to markaska or must you go into split.If so where

No you can not.The best is when your plain land take the airport bus which will drive you in the centre of town.On last bus station there is only 500 meter walk to intercity bus station where you can catch bus to Makarska.In case you miss airport bus you can take No 37 to Trogir and wait for the bus for Makarska.Airport bus waiting front of bulding .Hope I helped you
