Dalmacija hvar villa hotel

Has anyone stayed here? It is a two star on Kriza b.b., 21450 Hvar and apparently sits on the waterfront promenade in small bay just around the corner from the main harbor.

There are no reviews of it! Is teh location near to the night life of Hvar?

It is 3-4 min walk from the center where the night life is.

Velma1976 - I am looking into this hotel for next year. Did you end up staying there? If so, let me know what it was like as there are still no reviews posted.

Also interested in anyone else%26#39;s opinions of the Dalmacija.

as %26quot;jelsa%26quot; wrote it is just in center of the town maybe 30-40 meters from carpe diem bar (which will be open from june to october as hotel dalmacija)

i heard that it was renovated last year.

when do u plan to stay in hvar?

Hi Velma1976,

Don%26#39;t bother to stay in a hotel in Hvar. The Dalmacija is close to the night life but is way more expensive than staying in an %26quot;apartment%26quot;. The apartments are generally very nice and large and you can get one in %26quot;old town%26quot; for around $150 Kuna ($30 American dollars) per person, per night. There are some apartments listed on various websites but you will also be greeted by many people trying to rent their apartments when you get off the ferry. I can supply you the contact information of where I stayed if you are interested.

Hi 202 Marianne

we are interested in hearing about the place you stayed in. We(4) are looking for somewhere for Aug 2 2008 preferably with air con, not noisy and reasonable price!

Thanks.

I would reccomend you to stay at quarter called Podstine which is approx 15-20 minutes walk from the town but it is not noisy area and there is no lots of traffic. But from this quarter you have the best view on the islands.

Thank you very much for this advice. It%26#39;s just what we need to know.
