Driving from dubrovnik to zagreb?? a few questions

Hello everyone,

Dubrovnik on July 5 and 6 is completely booked, I can%26#39;t find a room for my family of 4 (2 little boys and me and my husband)...I was considering taking our rental car and driving from Dubronvnik to Zagreb where we fly back to the united states on Tuesday the 8th.

Does anyone have any suggestions of where to stop and stay along the way? Is this a doable trip or am I crazy with two little kids?

I do not think that Dubrovnik is completely booked for July 5th and 6th.

Did you check all hotels there or maybe private accomodation. There are also smaller town near Dubrovnik...
