Hvar - Bol

I have a holiday booked for 3 days in Hvar and 3 days in Bol. Does anyone know how if there is a ferry/catamaran between the Hvar and Bol? If not, what is the quickest way to get there? (I fear I might need to go back to split and catch a boat from there!)

there is a water taxi; it costs cca 400 euro for 10 pax; or you could take a catamaran at 1.00 PM Hvar-Milna /Brac/ and then by bus to Bol

There is also the catarmarin from Jelsa to Bol every morning very early but since Jelsa is some way from Hvar town this may be impractical.

There are also excursion boats from Hvar to Bol (and vice versa) that usually run daily in the morning and I have known people use these as a one way trip to get from one town to the other. Not sure how the skippers react to it but I suppose if they get their full money (maybe £12 per person) they don%26#39;t care as long as your bags don%26#39;t take up too much room.

Did you enjoy staying three days in Hvar? We%26#39;re considering the same in June. Anything you would recommend as a not to miss?
