Summer Holiday

I am thinking of a summer holiday to croatia in august with small group of friends aged 26-27. Which areas are best for beaches and some good nightlife?

I suggest route - Split - Hvar - Dubrovnik

Fly into Split and get out to the islands of Hvar or Brac.
