Train from Plitvice to Split

I would like to know if you can take a bus/taxi from Plitvice to Gospic and from Gospic travel by train to Split? Planning a trip in May 2008. Thank you!

I am afraid there are no regular bus lines from Plitvice to Gospic, so if you really want to get the train there, instead of taking the bus directly from Plitvice to Split, you will have to take a taxi.

Thank you jczadar! Would you suggest that we rather take the bus directly to Split or do you think the train will be more enjoyable although it might take longer?

Sorry, I have no idea, I took this train last time 20 years ago, here we usually travel by bus since the network is much more expanded.

We are trying to do either a bus or taxi from Plitvice to Split on May 11, 2008. When will you be going to Plitvice? Maybe if it is the same day we could split the cab expense.
