If you are going for the sea floating observe and respectt weather forecast as few winds can wind you up badly.

On the rivers watch for the whirlpools,torpedo trunks and classic man made junk.

Be safe.Wear a life jacket.Do not drink and dive.

I%26#39;m a level two Kayaker and I%26#39;m going to Dubrovnik in August. I never even thought about Kayaking over there. That%26#39;d be a right laugh. I wonder are there any places I can Kayak for a while. Or rent a playboat or something. Only I%26#39;m going over with my partner and he wouldn%26#39;t have a clue. Thanks for the idea :D

Of course you can have a craic cayaking in Croatia.Weather you are after secluded beach or old federal navy caves-for-the battleships.In adition to above I would add wide brim sombrero,welder%26#39;s specs and sun screen factor 100.Beware of sea scooters, speedboats and ferries.Kayakers are unusual sight and easy prey for them.
