Help with Plans !

Hi Guys,

My girlfriend and I are visiting Dubrovnik/Korucla/Mostar/Montenegro in early July for 12 days. I would appreciate any help regarding the route/plan we take. This is the plan we have:

1) Arrive in Dubrovnik, stay for 2 nights or maybe Cavtat.

2) Then travel to Korcula and stay for 3/4 nights

3) Next from Korcula to Hvar (2 nights).

4) Then we want to hire a car and drive to Mostar (1 night) then to Montenegro (2 nights)

Questions:

a) Would Dubrovnik be the best place to hire a car for trip to Mostar/Montenegro

b) What is the best way to get from Hvar to Dubrovnik ?

c) Is it worth going to both Islands ?

Dubrovnik is the best base for both Mostar and Montenegro.

Hvar to Dubrovnik .- if with a hired car, drive to Sucuraj, board the ferry to Drvenik and 1,5 to 2 hours to Dubrovnik

All islands of Croatia are spectacular and well worth visiting!

What would be the best/quickest way to get from Hvar to Dubrovnik ? as thats where we will pick up hire car for Mostar/Montenegro.

Hvar to Dubrovnik-- I would say you should ferry to Split and then bus to Dubrovnik. Unless you can work it out so the ferry is leaving from Hvar to Dubrovnik on that day.
