We are landing in Zagreb in September and are wondering if we should just pick up our car and start our journey. We want to end up in Split after Dubrovnick, since we need to take the ferry to Italy for our flight home.
The itinerary for this trip is difficult we have 8 days in Croatia.

Have you thought about just flying into Dubrovnik? I think a night in Zagreb is a good thing though!
