Hilton Dubrovnik

Hi has anyone stayed at the Hilton Dubrovnik - I am taking the family including very elderly parents and just wanted to know if it is a good spot or not?

Fabulous spot! I just stayed there two week ago and the service is great! We booked Business executive room on the top floor (you can see it in their gallery) and it was imply perfect. I still haven%26#39;t posted pics but I will. The Old Town is only few hundred meters away. The staff is very helpful and the only thing my wife did not like is their spa service since those girls have no clue what they were doing. The breakfast was superb and restaurant was not open at this time of year so we ate in Ston mali (40 minutes by car)

Morlaque - On our way to Orebic from Mostar we were thinking of stopping off at Mali Ston for lunch. If you enjoyed the food at the restaurant, we would appreciate the name of it.

We will also be staying at the Hilton in Dubrovnik, but not at the executive level.

I was in Dubrovnik last October and the Hilton looked excellent from what I could see as I walked round it especially the location, just outside the city walls. I have booked for a couple of nights over Easter at very reasonable rates.

Best Of Times

The restaurant is Kapetanova Kuca. Just get on the road to Ston, turn right for Villa Koruna or Ostrea hotel and turn around an ancient tower. The restaurant is being refurbished now but they are open at the Ostrea restaurant.

Oysters were not as good as the ones I had in September but everything else was simply fabulous! Also, try Stonski makarul cake made of pasta and chocolate (a local delicacy!). Sea food is also highly recommended!

hilton is good hotel, but on my opinion Excelsior is better only because the view. Hilton is at 2 min from old town and excelsion on 7 min.
