Hi we are from Australia and are planning this trip in June. How do advise we get from florence to croatia if we choose not to drive as it is on the other side of the road to us and are a bit nervous.

One way is to go via trieste to Rejika then down the dalmation Coast .
Alternative and different route is to go down to ancona then over night to Split and then grab a bus.

Good thing to use the Croatian bus service as its A1 but to all us good imbibers there is Zero alcohol on the roads so the inside of the stalaglufte is scary.

I had my honeymoon in Florence and then Split. We took an easy train from Florence down to Rome and caught a 50 min early evening flight to Split with Croatia airlines
