I see this has been a hot topic in the past and it seems complicated. How on earth do I get from Dubrovnik to Greece - I am ultimately trying to get to Naxos, the island, which means I%26#39;ll definitely have to stop in Athens, but I can%26#39;t find anything from Zagreb to Athens or from Split to Athens either... What on earth?!
I don%26#39;t have a lot of times to do the overnight ferry from Bari either... Help!

To me it sounds like its virtually impossible to take a quick trip from Croatia to Greece. Take a look at the link I have attached and I think you will see it will be very difficult to get there....Good luck! balkanology.com/overview/article_croatia_to_…

Wow! That is truly amazing! Thanks for the informative article. It helps immensely. Well, Seeing as I have very little time, but a very strong desire to see Croatia, I will have to investigate flight options (and might have to dish out a decent amount.) I truly hope this is doable because I%26#39;m dying to see Croatia!
I would have to essentially fly from Dubrovnik to Zagreb, then to maybe Prague or Budapest, then to Athens, then to Naxos. Which would make an entire day dedicated to travel. Bizarre!
Thanks again for your help. I truly appreciate it. I hope things change by June 2008, because that%26#39;s when I hope to go, but it looks like this has been an issue for a while and nothing has really changed much. Yikes.

Hi TxQT,
I am sure you have figured out how to get to Naxos from Dubrovnik by now, but I was recently looking into this same travel issue and found the best option to be to fly Croatian air to Rome and then Aegean Air to Naxos with a transfer of planes in Athens.
