Please help me all you well travelled people.
I have a possible two week holiday to spend in Croatia.
Do I choose Dubrovnik Split or Pula. I like some %26quot;Old Town%26quot; sight seeing and some relaxing.
Are each of these places seen in one week or will they occupy me and my wife for two weeks?
Not having been here before we are afraid of booking two weeks and finding we%26#39;ve seen most things in 3 days.
Flights from UK are not too frequent so it could be tricky booking a 10 day return flight cheaply.
Your help is appreciated.

When are you going?
Two weeks would be great for Croatia. Three even better! Trust me - there is so much to see and do that you could never get bored. You could spend the entire two weeks in Istria and not see everything.
Out of the three cities you mention I would definitely choose Dubrovnik. The city itself occupies a few days plus you can take several daytrips from there if you would like. You really must walk the walls around the old town. There are symphonies, etc. in the evenings. Just beware that it can be excessively crowded. With two weeks you could actually see all three.
In my opinion Pula is a nice town but warrants only about a day. Aside from the amphitheatre there is not much ancient stuff to see. Unless, of course, you take lots of daytrips from there. If you go to Istria I would recommend renting a car.
Split also warrants a day but lacks the charm of Dubrovnik. Trogir would be my personal preference (and I am sure many others).
If you have a solid two weeks you can see Istria (fly to Zagreb) which is my favourite part of the country, see Rovinj, work your way down to Plitvice Lakes, on to Trogir (near Split), and finish in Dubrovnik. From several places you can take a ferry (depending on the time of the year) to some gorgeous islands as well. Oh, and Zadar is worth a day or overnight stop.
Once you are finished in Dubrovnik you can fly back to Zagreb. It is a very quick and cheap flight.
One thing we found fun was searching for Kazuns - small, ancient stone field huts used for shelter, checking fields and vineyards. They are found in the southern and western parts of Istria. We took a day once to do it - it was great fun.

Split is mainly a base to go around.Pula almost the same.Dubrovnik is a place where you stay...and go around.
2 weeks is way too much for a single spot. You can glue Split %26amp; Dubrovnik.Or split 4 Pula-4 Split -6 Dubrovnik.
And going further - you can hire a car and easily see the most of the coast in 2 weeks.
