Hvar in March

I%26#39;m thinking of going to Hvar in March 08. What%26#39;s the weather like then? I know Split is the nearest airport but having trouble finding flights there, how quick and easy is it to get from Dubrovnik, where I would probably hire a car.

Get a flight to Zagreb and then fly to Split. Bus will take you to the herbor and just use www.croatiaairlines.com and www.jadrolinija.com to fine tune the times of arrival with time when the ferry leaves. You may have to spend a night in Split (Hotel Peristil or Vestiibul are near the harbor). Car is a good option even if coming from Split!

This is what we did 2yrs ago. Fly to Trieste in Italy from Stanstead cheap about £60 get the bus to Umag about 2hrs .Hire a car there also cheap and drive down to Hvar. We were there in Sept no idea

what the weather is like in March.Thinking of going

again in May 2008.There is plenty of accom there

we stayed Hvar town.
