Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me... I%26#39;m hoping to travel to Croatia in June, and need to know if if you can travel from the airports to resorts if you are not booked on a package transfer or if you don%26#39;t have a hire car?
Are there buses? If there are, do they run frequently and how expecsive are they?
Thanks in advance!

It very much depends on where you aim to fly to - Zagreb,Pula,Split,Dubrovnik?. For instance if you are an independent traveller to Pula there are no buses from the airport - only taxis. I think there are buses from Dubrovnik airport but I%26#39;m not currently uptodate. Hopefully someone else on this forum may be able to confirm this.

We are hoping to head to Dubrovnik - at least for some of the stay anyway.
For two weeks would you recommend staying just in one place or also visiting another area of Croatia? How easy would this be to do without a car?

Dubrovnik would be a good place to stay without a car. You could make your base Dubrovnik and take many daily excursions from there - to the various islands, or to Cavtat, Bosnia or Montenegro. OR you could spend some time in Dubrovnik and then take a boat from there to the beautiful island of Korcula and spend some time there.
