Try Croatia-beaches.com to see if anything looks good to you. Just keep in mind that sand beaches are very rare in Croatia. My first suggestion would be to go to Bol on Brac. The beach there is really nice and it is called Zlatni Rat. Or if you were in to lots of people partying, then go to---- http://www.novalja.com/gallery/

Another place that I really like the looks of is the following-- croatia-beaches.com/best/rab_lopar_rajska_be…

I have not been to this beach, but it sure looks nice!

I agree about Bol the Zlatni Rat beach is supposed to be the best in Croatia but no sand just fine gravel we stayed in an all inclusive hotel about half a mile from the beach, this was a package tour.

This year we found a much better place with an excellent beach surrounded by shops and cafes, this small town is called Baska on the island of Krk however you will have to make your own way there. We flew Eastjet into Rijeka (actually on the island) hired a car and stayed in the Corinthia hotel, it was one of the best holidays we have had, the scenery was supberb. I believe Ryanair fly into Rijeka.

If you can afford it, go to Dubrovnik, it is a stunning city and has a small number of VERY well equipped and cool beaches. As said by someone else, they aren%26#39;t very sandy but the water is the clearest you%26#39;ll see. Its not a cheap place by any means, but it is woth going if you can afford it. I visited there in 2006 with my now wife, we stayed a 10 min walk from the Old City walls in a 5 star called the Grand Villa Argentina (although it would be 4 star by northern EU standards)

Aer lingus Fly direct to Dubrovnik a few times a week from Dublin and the airport is only 20 mins in a taxi.

Simply stunning place.

Enjoy
