cruise vs. land trip?

Hi, we are debating whether to book a cruise that stops at various cities along the coast vs staying in a hotel %26amp; traveling around from there. I%26#39;m not crazy about being on a boat for 10days, however it sounds like you can see more while on the coast. Any thoughts would be helpful.

Cruise is nice as long as the weather stays ok and the engine room is not tripping.Depending on the itinerary, you may see and go places hardly seen by a car / on foot.

Land trip is cool (only) when you are on your own with a hired car.(Not %26quot;guided%26quot; and outside the pack.)

Kefa is right. Croatia is best experienced on your own and even though land tours are great when done on your own, my advice would be to charter a boat and then see what the real Mediterranean is like. Besides, you can do a land tour and visit most of the %26quot;known%26quot; islands like Brac, Hvar and Vis...

Though I have never been on a cruise in Croatia I have always thought it would be a great way to see the country. I would love just to hop from island to island stopping at the popular places and also just finding little coves to swim in and sun in. I don%26#39;t think you can go wrong with either option though. Going on land is a great thing too!!
