One day in Dubrovnik

Hi! I%26#39;ll have one day on May on Dubrovnik. Arrive with cruise, have until 5pm. Any ideas on what to do? Where does the ship dock and is there transportaion accesible or is walking better?

Walking is best - the ship docks really close to the sites. The old town centre is small and everything is in walking distance. I would definitely recommend walking the city walls (2-3 km - short). With taking pictures, stopping to gape at the scenery, etc. it can take up to 2 hours. Then just wander around the town, taking in the atmosphere. There are a few churches to peek into and some shopping. My favourite is to just walk and see where you end up.

It is a lovely place. Unfortunately for you it is best early in the morning or evenings. Maybe next time! Be aware that it will be very crowded.

Hope you have a fabulous time!
